Shops
The closest shops are in Gorebridge, about 2 miles from Temple, with McColls and Scotmid as well as bakers, chemists and hairdressers. Brennans at Birkenside is Temple’s closest shop, selling newspapers and groceries.
Transport
The public transport options in the Temple area are very limited. Lothian and First Group buses stop at Birkenside and the Borders Railway has a station in Gorebridge.
