In 2006 and 2010 we carried out surveys among local residents to find out what you thought about the Halls. You told us you would like the general comfort of the hall improved, better kitchen facilities, improved storage, and that these improvements would encourage you to use the Halls more.

The Village Hall Committee is now in the process of upgrading the facilities at the property to meet the needs of the current and future users and to make them more suitable for a wider range of events and activities. Work completed so far has: Refurbished the Kitchen, Rewired the Kitchen and Small Hall.

Current work will:

• Refurbish the Main Hall
• Refurbish other hall areas
• Improve lighting
• Improve heating
• Rewire the remainder of the property

Proposed work: There is further work proposed 

• Storage and shelving
• Audio system
• Staging and lighting
• Refurbish toilets
• Restoration of the belfry
• Bowling mats
